VGD (Venerable Group Development) Project
BASCO Foundation is implementing a group development (VGD) project from 2019 in Kendua and Durgapur Upazila under the Netrokona district funded by GOB. Each Union Parishad (UP) has a list of venerable women by the group. Every woman gets humanitarian support from the government every month. The organization organized a training about homestead gardening, Pesticide free vegetable production, goat & duck & poultry rearing, family planning & health, early marriage, women right & empowerment, social forestry, Hiv/Aids, aquaculture, reproductive health, effect of climate change and others development sector in every month for those venerable women group by group.
