Former VGD (Venerable Group Development) Project

BASCO Foundation is implementing group development VWB(VGD) project from 2019 to December 2020 in Kendua and Durgapur upazila under Netrokona district and 2020 to December 2021 in Sreepur Upazila under Magura district funded by Women Affaires Bureau, Government of Bangladesh (GOB). Each Union Parishad (UP) have a list of venerable women by group. Every women get a humanitarian support from government in every month. The organization organized a training about home stead gardening, Pesticide free vegetable production, goat & duck & poultry rearing, family planning & health, early marriage, women right & empowerment, social forestry, Hiv/Aids, aquaculture, reproductive health, effect of climate change and others development sector in every month for those venerable women group by group.
