01. Rehabilitation to Beggar
BASCO Foundation has been working in social development from long time in Magura and nearest others district. The organization is working for poor, hardcore, landless, helpless people and empowerment of women, rehabilitation of widow, divorce women helpless women in the society and operating others training course. BASCO Foundation is disbursing microcredit among those women and women are developing their economic situation gradually.
In the society women whose have no bearer their protection and who beg door to door for their live BASCO Foundation has given goat among those beggar women. Those women will solvency by this program and BASCO Foundation will be follow up them.
02. Humanitarian Support to Disability Students
BASCO Foundation has been operating NFPE (Non-Formal Primary Education) program since 2005. Present the organization is operating NFPE program by 350 school center and near about 10,000 learner studying. There have many varieties type of disability students. BASCO Foundation help those students by kinds, money and others humanitarian support.
03. Oral Health Program:
Awareness rising of the people by motivating on the tremendous bad effect of tobacco smoking/chewing. All of the beneficiaries are farmer who are not conscious about their health care. This program have implemented in 2010 funded by international donor.
04. Strengthening of Support Services for Combating AVIAN Influenza in Bangladesh
Since 2010 most of poultry farms have affected by Avian Influenza and farmers lost their capital. Awareness rising of the people to take preventive measure of AVIAN Influenza by the assistance of Ministry of Livestock, Government of Bangladesh and Government supported money to farmers who are lost their capital. BASCO Foundation jointly implemented the project by district livestock office.
05. Social Mobilization and development
Community awareness rising and motivation activities have played the vital role. The BASCO Foundation’s implemented the activities for creating awareness. BASCO Foundation applied an interactive communication approach where the practical experience and indigenous knowledge and skills of the community took a central place in the communication process. BASCO Foundation organized awareness program of Health hygiene and Nutrition, Maternal and Child health care, Nutrition development, Environmental Sanitation and Safe Drinking Water Supply, Family Planning, Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS preventive program, Human rights and good governance, Domestic Violence prevention Campaign, Legal awareness & gender relation, Combat human trafficking, Behavior change Communication (BCC), Aquaculture, Livestock and poultry development and agriculture development.
06. Community Awareness Activities
BASCO Foundation applied an interactive communication approach where the practical experience and indigenous knowledge and skills of the community took a central place in the communication process. The organization has attended a rally for rising awareness of all general people with young generation organized by Department of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh (GOB).
